Cambridge Regional College – Are you passionate about student welfare and safeguarding? Do you have a strong background in managing student support services? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Student Advice and Safeguarding Manager.
In this role, you will lead and manage the student advice, welfare, and safeguarding services at our college. Your responsibilities will include overseeing safeguarding, student advice and wellbeing, campus safety and behaviour, bursary and financial support. You will work closely with the Director of Student Services to develop and implement the College’s Safeguarding Strategy and ensure the wellbeing of all students.
You will join us on a full time (37 hours), full year basis and in return you will receive a salary of £45,000 per annum.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
General education to Level 3 or above.Minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and English.Significant experience of managing safeguarding operational services in an FE educational setting.Detailed knowledge of current legislation on Student Support Services and safeguarding.Experience of working with external partners and staff across the organisation to support young people and enhance their wellbeing.Enhanced Safeguarding Training and experience as Prevent Lead.Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.Ability to lead and motivate a team of staff.
