Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant at Staple Hill Primary School! Start date: 01/09/2025Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 8.45am – 15.15 pm Monday to Friday with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak, term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks)Salary: Grade 9, £28,624 - £31,067 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £18,299.02 – £19,860.80 p.a.)Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2026, subject to a review of the school’sbudgetClosing Date: 25/07/2025Interview Date: 30/07/2025The Role:We are looking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join our specialist provision team from Monday 1st September 2025This is a very exciting opportunity for a committed and versatile practitioner to work within our thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school. The role involves working with children with complex social/communication needs, many with a diagnosis of Autism. You will work under the direction of the school’s highly experienced SENCo. You will work as part of a team. This role would suit an individual who enjoys working creatively, with high levels of autonomy within a joyful and highly motivated community.Fluency Duty 
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
