Your Role in Building Brighter Futures As a cover teacher at Bedminster Down School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust. Set on the outskirts of South Bristol, approximately 40% of students at BDS are eligible for the Pupil Premium. In the wider community, the percentage of adults with experience of tertiary education is one of the very lowest in the country. As a cover teacher, you will be responsible for: · acting as a cover teacher in the case of staff absence or to enable staff development. · ensuring students are able to make good progress, through the high-quality delivery of cover lessons.
