Summary
Act as deputy to the Associate Director of Quality for Patient Safety and Risk, providing leadership and continuity in their absence. Support the Associate Director in the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of staff within the Patient Safety and Risk team. Quality assure the outputs and deliverables produced by the team, ensuring they meet the required standards of accuracy, clarity, and impact. Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training and education programmes related to patient safety and risk management, including the development of teaching materials and presentations tailored to staff needs across the Trust. Prepare and present high-quality reports and briefings for key corporate committees, including the Quality Governance Committee, Patient Safety Committee, Risk Committee, and Chief Officers meetings. Represent the Trust at external meetings, networks, and forums, acting as an ambassador for UHCWs approach to patient safety and risk management.
