We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible and highly motivated individual to join our ultrasound team as
Ultrasound Patient Pathway Coordinator taking on the responsibility and main contact for managing the administrative processes for complex ultrasound referrals including guided/core biopsies, drainages, fine needle aspirations and other ultrasound procedure referrals as per trust
access policy and standard operating procedure for in-patient, out-patient and Endoscopy/Gastroenterology pathways. The postholder will ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery to multidisciplinary teams improving patient experience and outcomes. The post holder will be based at the Royal London Hospital rotating across the St Bartholomews and Mile End , working 37.5 hours per week , Mondays -Fridays. Our service is in transition the working hours are subject to change to meet service requirements.

The post holder will organise appointments, patient preparation, and post procedure recovery, evidenced skills and experience in managing patients through this pathway are required. A background working in Ultrasound and Radiology is essential, as is an understanding of the patient journey from point of referral to procedure monitoring (RTT).
