The Role
As part of the Finance System and Processes Team develop, enhance, upgrade and test financial aspects of COINS and associated systems/ software. To design, test and rollout new and revised Financial Processes, which support the implementation of Group Financial Policies. To deliver and manage effective system support and issue resolution for financial aspects of COINS and associated systems/software. To lead the Financial Super-User Groups to define and share best practice, to upskill their capabilities to deliver first line support and identify areas of concern or enhancement requests. To deliver and maintain financial training programme and associated training materials.
Principle Accountabilities:
Work closely with IT and Finance providing third line support to resolve system-related issues with the day-to-day operation and maintenance of financial systems.
Use best practice and system functionality knowledge to develop Group Financial Processes, taking input as needed from Group Finance, to ensure Group Financial Policies are complied with.
Assist in the rollout of Group Financial Policies and work with divisions to assist and train them in implementing appropriate Financial Processes
Co-ordinate and provide training and skills transfer to users, including new starters, on system enhancements and changes and to provide regular refresher training as deem necessary.
Provide training and skills transfer to Super-Users to allow the Super-User group to provide an element of first line support
To assist with assessing system enhancements and the design and delivery of business process, including user acceptance testing for COINS and associated systems/software upgrades/changes.
Assist with integration projects, maintenance updates and system upgrades.
In conjunction with support, maintain the testing scripts for annual upgrade including development of the AI automated testing solution.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data inputs into financial systems. Generate reports and support data analysis for business decisions. Implement protocols to maintain data security and compliance.
To identify areas of business improvement where financial systems, software or reporting can provide additional benefit to the Group and the Divisions towards achieving business objectives

Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience
Experience of working in a senior finance role and/or a System & Processes role for a large housebuilding or construction organisation
Qualifications and training
Accounting and/or financial related degree or Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Detailed knowledge of and experience using COINS
Experience of implementing and/or changing financial systems
Experienced with data analysis and Excel
Preferred understanding of Bellway’s current Financial Policies and Operations
Skills and aptitude

The Role and Working Conditions
Willing to be flexible in respect to day-to-day duties and hours worked.
Be prepared to travel to divisions around the country and spend periods during the week away from home.
There is a requirement for one weekend of working per year during the platform upgrade (this time will be returned in lieu).
