Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Baby Room Practitioner to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine drive to support the development of young children in a nursery setting. As a Level 3 practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for babies, fostering their growth and learning through play and interaction.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-2 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure continuity of care.
Manage daily routines within the baby room, including feeding, nappy changing, and sleep times.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
Collaborate with the team to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes positive behaviour.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and supporting less experienced staff as needed.
Skills
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Proven ability to manage a busy nursery environment while maintaining high standards of care.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and team members.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
