Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Tutor to deliver engaging, high-quality training to adult learners across a range of hospitality subjects, including food service, customer care, and health and safety. Based in Skills and Employment Hubs and community venues, the role supports learners in gaining industry-relevant qualifications and progressing into employment or further training.

Hospitality Tutor – Adult Education and Skills Development

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Hospitality Tutor to join our Adult Education team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the hospitality industry and a commitment to supporting adult learners in gaining the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in this dynamic sector.

As a Hospitality Tutor, you will deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited courses up to and including Level 2, covering areas such as Food and Beverage Service, Barista Skills, Front of House Operations, Customer Service, Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene. You may also contribute to wider employability and personal development programmes that support learners in progressing into work or further training.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Has recent and relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
Holds a recognised teaching qualification and relevant vocational qualifications.
Can plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences.
Understands the needs of adult learners and can support a diverse range of individuals.
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning programmes that promote social regeneration, increase community engagement, and support learner progression. All provision must embed equality and diversity, promote British values, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Delivery will take place across the borough, including Skills and Employment Hubs, community venues, and other outreach locations. Flexibility, creativity, and a learner-centred approach are essential.
