Summary
Job Description We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Develop care plans for health, in line with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols. Conducting patient consultations and examinations. Diagnosing and treating illnesses. Providing continuous care for patients with chronic conditions. Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality. Attending Practice meetings and contributing to the development of the practice. Referring patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed. Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to patient care and safety. Manage and complete administrative tasks such as preparing reports, and ensuring timely submission of required documentation. Provide counselling and health education. Admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate. Collect data for audit purposes and comply with QOF requirements. Deliver enhanced services. Issue and review acute and repeat prescriptions Generally undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
