CAD Engineer - based High Wycombe

About the Role:

As a CAD Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing and drafting technical 2D and 3D drawings for our cutting-edge lighting systems. Working closely with engineering, design, and production teams, you’ll help ensure our solutions are not only technically robust but also sleek and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert lighting layouts from contractors into detailed CAD designs
• Use AutoCAD to build backdrops and export files to our Perspective software
• Populate databases with lighting icons and network trees for pre-commissioning
• Produce and revise technical drawings and schematics to the highest standards
• Support cross-functional teams by resolving design and technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist Estimating with technical inputs
• Contribute ideas for improving product functionality and efficiency

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.)
• Experience in lighting, electronics, or manufacturing sectors (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• A technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Product Design (or similar)
• A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and innovate
• Familiarity with smart lighting technologies, IoT integration, and lighting control systems is a big plus.

Salary will be upto 30k plus great benefits including Pension and Private Healthcare
