• Dedicated academic supervision and assessment support to help you achieve your learning outcomes
• Hands-on experience across various community settings, including Children’s Centres and family homes
• The chance to work as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary team
• Skills development to deliver the Healthy Child Programme effectively
Requirements:
• Demonstrate how you meet the criteria outlined in the person specification
• Complete a literacy and numeracy test
• Provide one professional and one academic referee on your application

We are offering afixed-term, one-year full-time contractfor aBSc/PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting)course at the University of Greater Manchester.
Details:
• Start Date: January 2026
• Completion Date: January 2027
• Salary: Band 5
This course is abalanced mix of 50% academic study and 50% practical experience, with placements across Bury.
Funding:
This is a fully-funded training opportunity, subject to funding availability from Health Education England. Successful participants will qualify as registeredSpecialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors).

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
