Summary
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for aSenior Assistant Psychologistto join theNorthern Care Alliance, based atSt James's House, Salford, within theSalford Community Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey. You'll be involved in neuropsychological assessments including cognitive testing, as well as delivering individual, group, and systemic interventionsas part of asupportive multidisciplinary team.
You’ll also benefit from working within alarge neuropsychology department, gaining exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences. This post offers ideal preparation for a future career inclinical psychologyandneuropsychology.
This is a full-time, permanent, Band 5 post.
This advert will close once sufficient numbers of applications have been received. Additional Senior Assistant Psychologist posts may become available, and strong candidates who are not initially successful may be considered for these roles without the need for a further interview.
You will assist with the overall development of the new Neuropsychology provision within the team and contribute to:
• Assessments, formulations and interventions for clients referred to the CNST in Salford. This is likely to include home visits. You will work closely with Clinical Neuropsychology colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• You will also hold responsibilities for maintaining patient databases and assisting in audit and service evaluation.
