Crynodeb
Darlington Borough Council are seeking to appoint someone who is enthusiastic, highly organised, and customer-focused with a positive attitude who can deal confidently with people and partners. You will be required to work with complex and vulnerable clients by providing housing advice, support and assistance to those potentially homeless or in housing need, providing a high standard of housing advice and guidance to clients and landlords. You will work alongside a wide range of statutory, voluntary and community groups, providing effective support in accordance with Home Office requirements.

You should have a minimum of 2 yearsandrsquo; experience of working in a housing/social care or related environment together with experience of dealing with vulnerable people and knowledge of the homelessness legislation. Candidates will need to have effective communication and negotiation skills, work well within the team, as an individual and work positively with members of the public.
