Senior Care Assistant – St Anthony’s Residential Home
Location: St Anthony’s Residential Home
Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends, on-call duties required)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
St Anthony’s Residential Home is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our compassionate and professional team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
Administer medication safely and in line with policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with care regulations and internal policies.
Support and mentor junior staff members to maintain best practices.
Assist with care planning and documentation.
Participate in on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
Experience in administering medication and compliance with care standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
A compassionate and professional approach to resident care.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.
