Job Description
We are seeking an organised and efficient Stores Operative to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. As a Stores Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory flow, and maintaining accurate stock records.
receipting and processing of part deliveries
collating and checking of parts for supply to the manufacturing area
loading and unloading of deliveries and dispatch
packing and dispatch of finished products including machinery
general stores duties.
Flexibility to work in other departments, after suitable training, with the opportunity to grow skills in different disciplines
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is preferred
Proficiency in inventory management and stock control systems
Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management software
Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Physical fitness to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
Forklift certification (Counter balance)
Ability to commute to our Bristol warehouse location
