Crynodeb
We are looking for a childminding assistant to:
● provide fun, inclusive play experiences for children;
● extend children’s learning;
● ensure children are safe, well and happy;
● liaise with parents/carers;
● complete necessary paperwork/admin;
● help to set up, maintain and tidy the setting;
● help to prepare healthy meals/snacks.
30hrs minimum, working over 3 days, with flexibility to cover the other 2 days when required.
A successful candidate should:
● be caring, fun and enthusiastic;
● have some experience of working with young children;
● enjoy working as part of a team;
● have good verbal and written communication skills;
● have some knowledge of child development and the EYFS;
● be suitable to work with children (enhanced DBS check required);
● have/gain qualifications in paediatric first aid and safeguarding;
● be prepared to take part in ongoing training opportunities.
