Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious, healthy and nutritious snacks and meals using organic and responsibly resourced ingredients.
Requirements:
Subject to a clear DBS and good references the successful applicant for the Nursery Cook position will need:
- a minimum of 1 year experience working as a cook in a nursery or catering facility
-Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification
-to be able to adapt to change and work proactively with nursery staff.

As the nursery cook, you will:
-prepare fresh snacks and meals for the children (and sometimes staff!)
-ensure all allergen and dietary requirements are adhered to
-undertake regular deep cleans of their working kitchen
-ensure the kitchen and serving areas are maintained to the highest standards in terms of presentation and cleanliness.
-consistently present correctly laid out tables and trays as per children specification.
- be able to undertake any further duties assigned by the Headteacher in relation to the kitchen, meals, serving and cleanliness.
-be passionate about preparing fresh, balanced, nutritious meals
