Engineering CMMS / Stores Lead – Manufacturing

Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (PE28)

Circa £42,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday


We are proud to be working with our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Cambridgeshire, to recruit an experienced and driven Engineering CMMS / Stores Lead.

The Role:


As Engineering CMMS / Stores Lead, you will support the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective maintenance operations by managing planning, systems, and engineering stock.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Planning, preparing, and coordinating maintenance tasks, resources, and schedules
  • Working closely with Production, Engineering, and Facilities teams to optimise maintenance strategies
  • Using CMMS tools for maintenance planning, reporting, and decision-making
  • Managing critical engineering stores and ensuring parts availability, either directly or via third-party suppliers


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:


  • Experience in Engineering Planning, Maintenance Admin, or CMMS-based roles
  • A background in a manufacturing environment (FMCG or food preferred but not essential)
  • Strong computer skills, including CMMS software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with excellent communication skills
  • Previous hands-on experience with engineering or maintenance scheduling would be highly beneficial
