What skills and experience we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS
• Has leadership experience in an early years setting
• Is caring, creative, and enthusiastic about early childhood education
• Loves the outdoors and promotes nature-based learning
• Confidently understands and implements the EYFS statutory framework
• Sets high expectations for teaching, learning, and behaviour
• Champions inclusion and is committed to raising standards for all
• Understands safeguarding and is dedicated to children’s wellbeing
• Communicates clearly with children, families, and colleagues
• Is reflective, flexible, adaptable, and proactive in their practice
• Upholds professional conduct and contributes positively to a strong team culture

Are you a passionate Early Years professional who believes every child deserves an inspiring and nurturing start to their education? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team at Little Oaks, Timberscombe C of E First School.

In this role, you will lead high-quality learning, champion nature-based and outdoor education, and ensure every child feels safe, understood, and ready to succeed.
