Devon. As our new Fitness & Wellbeing Lead, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional leisure experiences at Exmouth
Leisure Centre – a vibrant facility featuring a 25-metre pool, state-of-the-art gym, and climbing wall.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead the Gym and Wellness Hub, ensuring safe, effective, and engaging fitness services.
* Manage the fitness studio and class programme, supporting health initiatives and outreach projects.
* Provide leadership and coaching to the fitness team, supporting recruitment, training, and performance.
* Oversee health referral schemes and contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
* Deputise for the Leisure Manager and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in leisure management or a related role.
* Level 3 Fitness Qualification (Personal Trainer and/or Exercise Referral).
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
* First Aid at Work Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Desirable Extras:
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
* Experience with leisure management systems and marketing strategies.
