SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview:
- Support students with a variety of SEN, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
- Work closely with students to manage and reduce challenging behaviours, and help them build coping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored learning support.
- Gain practical experience working in a specialist SEN school environment, preparing for a future career in SEN education or related fields.

Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young adults with additional needs ( SEN support, youth work, mental health roles).
- Strong behaviour management skills - any restraint or positive handling training is a plus.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach, with a strong desire to support students with complex needs.
- Interest in pursuing a career in special education, psychology, or therapy.
