Job Title: Year 8 Nurture Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
About the school:
A specialist SEMH secondary school supporting students aged 11-19 with tailored education and therapeutic provision. Modern facilities include therapy rooms, vocational spaces, and a dedicated wellbeing team.
About the role:
Deliver a differentiated curriculum to a small Year 8 nurture group. Collaborate with therapists and pastoral staff to provide a safe and structured learning environment.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 students with SEMH needs
- Build positive relationships and provide consistent emotional support
- Use restorative approaches to manage behaviour
- Work closely with families and external professionals
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience working in SEMH or specialist settings
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for inclusive education and student development
