Crynodeb
1 to 2 Personal Support Assistants are required for 18 hours per week, to support a young man who has low level autism with his independent living.
The young man receives support with prompting for everyday tasks such as cleaning, washing. He needs support with shopping and going out in the community to places of interest. He loves being outdoors in nature, walking, going on the bus or train, visiting museums and the railway museum in York
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour, with paid annual leave.
There are 18 hours per week to cover, which can be flexible, can either be a job share (2 x 9 hours per week each) which can be discussed at interview level.
This job would ideally be for 2 PA’s to cover these hours between them so that he has holiday and contingency cover. With either 1 or both PA's able to drive and have access to a car so he can go a bit further afield.
Experience with autism would be desirable.
A DBS is required for this position.
