A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 12 year old boy living in the Rhydyfelin area of Pontypridd with my mother and siblings. I am a very friendly and nice boy who has recently grown up a lot. I love spending time in the garden and very much enjoy the TV and time on my phone or IPad, I always have one of these with me.

I have a diagnosis of Autism and I am non-verbal. I also have no sense of danger and do not like being challenged, but I can adapt to new things given time.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

I am looking for a PA to keep me safe while out in the community and to provide me with some independence away from my family.

RATE(S) OF PAY

£14 per hour and 40p per mile where applicable

HOURS OF WORK

4 hours per week available which can be used flexibly. Hours will be after school or weekends.

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

Taking me to McDonalds or KFC for food in Nantgarw.
Taking me to Pontypridd Park.
Taking me to Barry Sidings.
Going to Tenpin to go bowling or play in the arcade.
Supporting me to go swimming.
Potentially just going for a walk locally or just a car ride.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Someone who will keep a close eye on me to keep me safe when out socially.
A person willing to be reasonable firm with me and not let me get away with things.
A car driver is preferable.
An outgoing person willing to have fun with me.
A kind and caring person.
A reliable and punctual person.
Someone willing to build a relationship with me.

ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
