Crynodeb
As the Head of Commercial Operations role is central to the delivery of commercial support across the CPS and our wider justice family. We are therefore looking for a driven, dynamic, professional with experience of having worked within the public sector (and with experience of) and leading people, finance, policy, systems, communications, engagement, recruitment, and operations across the CPS commercial function.
Confident as a proven leader of sizable operations, you will grow the capability of our people, increasing the standard of commercial maturity, execution of commercial operational activities, stakeholder engagement, systems capability and risk management across the commercial portfolio. Personable and engaging, you quickly build strategic relationships with senior peers and representatives from contract owners, gaining the respect and trust of others, but are comfortable being robust and challenging to secure those outcomes CPS requires.
You will set clear direction, champion innovation and build organisational strength, using your proven experience of working in a large organisation. You are comfortable working at pace, achieving significant efficiency improvements and publishing reports. A track record of successful senior management, and a demonstrable flair for business partnering and networking.
As part of this role, you are expected to undertake direct line management responsibilities.
