Hours: 32.5hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)

The Head teacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, with a commitment to inclusive learning to join our growing team at Ninian Park. This post will be part of our Wellbeing team to support a variety of pupils across the school throughout the day with physical and sensory support.
An ability to contribute to the warm, caring, ethos of this multi-cultural school is essential. The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities and work well as part of a dedicated team.
The successful applicant will provide wellbeing and sensory support for children across the school.
The appointment will be subject to suitably qualified candidates with NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education, NNEB or equivalent qualifications.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
