A unique opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate, with an interest in working in a school environment
We are seeking a Residential Graduate Assistant (Boys’ Sport). These positions are designed to provide a valuable opportunity for recent graduates, with an interest in education/working with young people, to gain experience of the workplace and to make a significant contribution to the life of a busy school. The role combines a contribution to the Sports programme (with a focus on Junior rugby coaching and, where required, assisting senior rugby), the cocurricular programme, and assisting in a Boarding House. A specialism in strength and conditioning would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate can expect board and lodgings within the College and a modest salary, commensurate with their experience. In the second year, there will be opportunity to complete a PGCE qualification.
For the right candidate, the position will bring about an opportunity to play for Llandovery RFC, one of the 12 teams in the Indigo Group Premiership; the top tier of club rugby in Wales run by the Welsh Rugby Union.
