Allstaff Office Division are delighted to be partnering with Campbells Air Conditioning, based in Dumbarton, in their search for a Trainee Estimator. This is a permanent full time role and ideal for someone keen to learn and progress in this field. Full training will be given.

The hours are Monday to Friday (Monday – Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm with 1 hour lunch)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We require an administrator who can be trained in the following areas. Candidates should have basic experience in Word, Excel and Outlook to be considered coupled with the want to learn.

Log and file new tender enquiries and set up tender files with all relevant information.
Send project information to suppliers for quotes.
Organize and check over received quotations to make sure they are correct.
Use Microsoft Excel and Word to organise prices and create quotes.
Read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings and specifications.
Communicate questions, problems, or inconsistencies with clients or consultants.
Meet tender deadlines.
Regularly communicate with our other estimators and co-ordinate effectively.
Regularly communicate with suppliers and clients for project updates
Keep track of supplier price changes and discounts.
Answer office phones
REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrate competency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
Customer focused with good written and verbal communication skills
Able to meet deadlines and to plan and prioritise workload
Demonstrate a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Salary: From £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
