Crynodeb
The Deputy Cancer Services Manager will be responsible for leading on a number of key performance and operational criteria across cancer services. They will provide leadership and line management of the Cancer Services Support Managers to ensure the effective leadership and management of processes. This will provide assurance that the Cancer Services Team delivers a patient- centered service. Working with the Lead Cancer Manager, the post- holder will help to develop a culture focused on safety and quality, whilst ensuring achievement of performance against the national standards and positive patient experience. The post- holder will support the development of a culture across the organisation which is transparent and empowers innovation, creativity, and learning at ward and departmental level.Along with the Lead Cancer Manager, the post- holder will provide advice on the national and local cancer agenda to the operational teams and work with peers to ensure consistency of cancer standards across the organisation, thereby reducing unwarranted variation in practice.
