Permanent and Temporary contracts and various hours available. Required to work communal areas of North Wales Housing Offices, schemes and resident communal areas within the Conwy/Gwynedd/Ynys Mon/Flintshire areas. - option to indicate preferred location, hours and days available during application process​

About the Role​

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that communal areas across our housing stock and workspaces are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. Your key duties will include:​


Vacuuming of stairs, hallways, and landings
Cleaning of shared communal facilities
​Removal of rubbish and maintaining tidy bin areas
Wiping down handrails and paintwork
Cleaning internal windows and door glass
Reporting persistent issues such as abandoned rubbish to the Service Manager
​Monitoring stock levels and requesting cleaning materials as needed​
Escalating any issues or concerns affecting residents



Who We’re Looking For

​We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ideal candidates will have:


Awareness of Health & Safety procedures, including Fire Safety and COSHH regulations
Ability to work efficiently and to deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic numeracy and IT skills
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
​A BASIC DBS check will be required for this role
Full UK driver’s licence (a van may be provided dependant on location of role)​
Ability to pronounce Welsh place names accurately (Level 1 Welsh Language Requirement)​
