The post holder ensures that the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust fulfils its obligations and aims to develop a positive leadership culture that supports organisational goals. The post holder will support the Head of Culture and Organisational Development in implementing the Leadership and Management Development Strategy and will be directly responsible for facilitating leadership development initiatives throughout the Trust. They will lead and coordinate the development of strategies and policies to support leadership and team development, ensuring compliance with best practices and relevant legislation. Acting as a lead specialist in culture, leadership, management, and team development, the post holder will work independently within broad occupational policies and guidelines to ensure the Trust meets and exceeds its People and Culture objectives. This will include: Providing professional advice to managers on leadership development policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensuring leadership strategies are embedded in the Trusts working culture through targeted OD interventions such as coaching, masterclasses, and workshops. Supporting the development of leadership capabilities across all levels of the organisation, building a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver effective culture, leadership and team development initiatives. Evaluating the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and making evidence-based recommendations for continuous improvement.
