**Job Title: MIG Welder (Aluminum)**
**Location:** Witton
**Shift:** Day Shift
**Salary:** £15 - £16 per hour
**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. This position involves welding aluminum materials ranging from 2mm to 3mm in thickness, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring high-quality welds. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing high-precision components for various industries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials (2mm-3mm thickness) according to engineering drawings.
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate welding processes.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety procedures.
* Ensure all welded joints meet quality standards, with a focus on precision and consistency.
* Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on welding equipment to ensure proper functionality.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve production targets.
**Key Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a MIG Welder, specifically with aluminum welding.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and materials.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace.
* Own welding tools and PPE (preferred but not essential).
