Temporary Deputy Business Systems Manager

Skills & Experience:

Degree or equivalent level or relevant work experience
Working knowledge of social care systems both front and back end
Knowledge of GDPR and DPA principles
Experience of working in Health or Social Care.
Significant experience in supporting and configuring health or social care systems
Experience of developing and mapping business processes and data flows translating these into workflows, systems development and operating systems control processes
Experience of analysing problems and identifying effective solutions in relation to the effective running of IT systems
Ability to write report prepare detailed presentations and give presentations to a range of internal and external audiences
Fluent IT literacy in MS Office including project management and recording systems



What's involved with this role: You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and configuration of the Mosaic social care system, ensuring it supports streamlined, user-friendly processes across Adult Social Care and partner organisations, while maintaining data integrity, system security, and compliance with GDPR and best practice standards.

Key duties:

Lead the mapping, implementation, and review of business processes across Mosaic and related systems, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Guide and support Mosaic Support Analysts in translating business needs into effective system configurations aligned with best practice.
Provide senior managers with system configuration options and use cases, using in-depth knowledge of Mosaic functionality to support informed decision-making.
Manage change control processes and the Departmental Change Board, ensuring successful implementation of changes aligned with stakeholder needs and wider change programmes.
Oversee system upgrades, testing, and go-live processes in partnership with IT and suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met and escalating risks where necessary.
