Intermediate Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: London | Sector: Fit Out & Refurbishment | Salary: Competitive
I'm currently working with a dynamic, privately owned main contractor with a £150m turnover to recruit two Project Quantity Surveyors. Known for their supportive leadership and strong internal progression, this business delivers a diverse portfolio including CAT A, CAT B fit outs, and cut-and-carve refurbishments across London and the South East.
Role Overview:
- Assist in managing the commercial aspects of multiple fast-paced fit out and refurbishment projects
- Oversee procurement, cost control, valuations, and final accounts
- Prepare and manage project budgets and monthly cost reports
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure commercial efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Report to a divisional director who is known for mentoring and promoting within
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-8 years' experience as an AQS or Project QS
- Background in main contracting, ideally with experience in fit out or refurbishment
- Able to manage multiple workstreams and commercially focused
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
