Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Cleaner to join a Service Department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional cleaning team responsible for maintaining prestigious households in SW1 and two properties in SW10. The successful candidate will be committed to providing outstanding cleaning services and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties in unoccupied and occupied properties, including dusting, vacuuming, laundry processing, ironing, making/changing beds, and cleaning bathrooms.
Carry out all spring cleaning tasks as directed by the Group Executive Housekeeper.
Report any security issues directly to the security team.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or inventory needs to the building service department.
Ensure all equipment and cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Manage administrative tasks, including submitting holiday, appointment, and sickness requests via the Staffology app.
Conduct monthly stock takes and meter readings and submit them to the relevant departments.
Maintain flexibility to cover for holidays or sick leave, which may require working hours of 1 pm to 9 pm as needed.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis.
Flexibility is required to accommodate varying schedules:
Unoccupied Properties: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Occupied Properties:
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Occasionally 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Flexibility to cover holidays and sick leave: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
Previous cleaning in High Spec properties and antiques.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality.
Detail-oriented approach.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
