Summary

South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre is one of Chelmsford City Council’s four leisure facilities, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone.  Every member of staff plays their role, working within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. 

Chelmsford City Council runs a successful holiday camp at a number of facilities across the City during the school holidays. The camps, available for 4 – 7 year olds and 8 – 12 year olds, are an ideal opportunity for children to try a range of new and exciting activities.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to act as Camp Leaders who can lead the delivery of our camps during the school holidays. The applicant must possess a sports leadership / coaching qualification, be passionate about giving every child an amazing experience, be a confident communicator and have excellent customer care skills. The applicant should have the ability to adapt their delivery to suit various skills and abilities to create an environment to motivate and encourage.

This post is offered on a casual basis and the successful applicants will be required to work predominantly during the school holidays, but additional coaching sessions maybe available during school term times and weekends.
