Job Title: HGV Class 1 DriverLocation: BurntwoodJob Type: TemporaryIndustry: DrivingPay Rate: £20 per hourWorkchain is currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Burntwood on a temporary basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
This is working a leading haulage client. The usual work that they will have is going from the depot in Burntwood to Palletforce in Burntwood, then up to J29 on the M6 for a trailer swap then back down through pallet force and then back to the depot in Burntwood. 10 - 11 hour nights. Ad hoc work and also ongoing work. Key Responsibilities:- Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and courteous manner- Loading and unloading goods as required- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately- Adhering to all road and traffic regulations- Providing excellent customer service at all timesQualifications:- Valid HGV Class 1 license- CPC qualification- Digi tacho card- Minimum of 2 years experience and less than 6 points!!!
