Following the success of its first sites in Oxfordshire and Bristol, a third site in Manchester is currently underway and a further ten locations are already earmarked as part of the immediate expansion plan to forge a new ‘budget-luxe’ sector in the travel and leisure industry.

Mollie’s is now looking for a Diner Manager looking to build a successful career with an inventive, high growth brand at the forefront of the hospitality sector.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an experienced Diner Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Diner as well as provide support and strategic direction. You will plan and supervise the activities of our diverse team to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business.

You will be just as responsible for the customer journey as for strategising and preparing reports. You will actively managing and developing your team as well as being the person of reference for employees, clients and suppliers.

The Diner manager must be able to guide the employees to work as a well-functioning team and help them reach optimal performance. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation. The goal is to enhance customer dedication and expand our clientele by strengthening our Mollie’s reputation. Your role is to increase and then maintain standards of service and to enhance the reputation Mollie’s at all times. Previous experience as a Restaurant or Diner manager is essential, a hospitality management or relevant field is desirable but not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day running of the diner, supervising work at all levels and setting clear objectives
  • Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training and scheduling of the diner team
  • Having regular reviews with the diner team and putting personal development plans in place
  • Consistently delivering brand standards of service to guarantee the customer journey and manage our reputation.
  • Managing team performance and reporting on KPI’s to enhance service standards.
  • Oversee beverage stocktakes & ordering of beverages and consumables.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a restaurant/diner manager in a fast paced environment and of a large team (20+) is essential
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
  • A qualification in business/hospitality management is desirable but not essential.
  • Personal License holder is preferable.
