About the client
The client is a 94-year-old man living in his daughter’s one-bedroom flat in Stepney Green, London. His daughter acts as his main informal carer. The client speaks with his daughter online daily and requires interaction with providers during periods when she is away to help her to continue to support her father, particularly with any household or administrative issues.

• Check comfortability in own home, including indoor temperature and heating settings, open/closed windows, wearing appropriate clothing, telecare pendant and hearing aids (especially changing hearing aid batteries), locking the front door
• Noticing when cleaning is needed and ensuring there are cleaning products available for the cleaner, so that the client’s daughter may prompt and supervise the cleaner to carry out jobs they might not do on their own initiative
