Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism

We are looking for Support Workers to support individuals in Sheffield S2 in a great location with fantastic benefits. You will be friendly and approachable and support individuals to have a great life with excellent outcomes.

You will be supporting 14 individuals aged between 30 to 80 yrs. old across 3 supported living houses. The people we support have a wide range of needs such as learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and physical disabilities. Some of the people we support use wheelchairs so there are elements of moving and handling involved.

Everyone has their own interests, hobbies, and activities and it's our role to support and encourage people's engagement in doing the things they love and enjoy. For some of the people we support they love listening and singing along to music, cooking, baking, doing crafts, visiting family and friends, and going on holiday both in the UK and abroad. Other people we support enjoy going on relaxing walks, going out for meals of their choice, pamper evenings, going to the cinema, or watching sports - wrestling and football are firm favourites as well as Laurel and Hardy.

The Role

- to promote independence where possible and support the people, we support to live their lives the way they choose

- varying levels of personal care, from full support to prompting and manual handling

- Medication

- Meal preparation

- Shopping, household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and laundry

We are looking for people who are flexible working a combination of shifts on a rota basis, including weekends. Shift patterns will vary but the earliest you will start is 7am and the latest you will finish is 10pm

There is a driveway for staff parking and good transport links within the area
