About the Role
We are seeking a Parts & Service Advisor to join our newly opened Van Centre in Felixstowe. This role is ideal for someone with experience in automotive parts, customer service, or service advising, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
As a Parts & Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling vehicle service bookings, parts orders, and customer enquiries while ensuring smooth service operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome customers professionally and assist with vehicle service bookings
• Provide clear communication regarding service updates, repair costs, and inspection reports
• Keep customers informed about timelines, additional work requirements, and pricing
• Maintain a clean and organised service reception area
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies
Parts Advisor Duties:
• Process customer and workshop parts orders accurately
• Manage parts stock, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control
• Maintain an efficient filing and retrieval system for parts and service documentation
• Ensure the parts department remains clean, organised, and well-stocked
Requirements
• Previous experience in a Parts Advisor, Service Advisor, or Customer Service role within the automotive industry (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer proficiency, including GDS systems and general office software
• A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
