Summary
Cut & Crease Assistants

3 On/3 Off, Days & Nights - 6am to 6pm/6pm to 6am
£14.91 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay
Our client operates a non-smoking/vaping site policy. This means that smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere onsite, nor are staff permitted to leave site during a 12 hour shift.
Concept Recruitment are working with our client in LS11 to recruit a number of Finishing Assistants on a temporary to permanent basis.
Role Responsibilities:
Assisting the Machine Operator to fix machines and reduce downtime
Ensuring that products are not damaged and no errors have been made
Feeding the machine and ensuring the machine is running properly at all times
Checking the finished products to ensure they meet customer standards
Picking up pallets using an electric truck (full training given)
Cleaning machines
Working in a fast paced environment in a highly responsible role
Suitable candidates will need:
Previous experience within a warehouse/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
The ability to pick up new processes and procedures quickly and effectively
Strong communication skills
Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
You will be working on a 3 on 3 off 12 hour shift basis, days and nights on a set shift pattern.
