Europcar is the European car and van rental leader with a premium positioning.
This is a fixed term contract role to cover maternity leave 7 months
Main Objectives:
Working in the Non-Fleet Procurement team, the successful candidate will be required to manage negotiations and contractual agreements with a wide portfolio of suppliers. The individual will also be expected to lead a variety of RFPs and tenders in order to support strategic cost-saving targets.
This role is open to anyone who has the eligibility to work in the UK. The Company is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Based in our Leicester Head Office (but with the option of home working on a flexible basis) the role will require the individual to deliver a competitive advantage and sustainable value to all Europcar Group UK spend. They will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement process across supplier categories ranging from Marketing and Professional services to Maintenance & Repair of Vehicles and Facilities Management.
Key areas of focus will be:

Price and contract negotiations with external suppliers

Execution of RFPs and tenders

Supporting Business Process owners with negotiations and contractual queries

Working closely with the Legal, Finance and Contract management teams

Promoting sourcing and procurement processes and procedures

Supplier spend analysis and benchmarking

Optimisation of existing and future supplier relationships, processes and spend

Achieving UK and Group cost-saving targets
