Position: Goods in Inspector
Location: Quedgeley
Hours of work: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 05:00 pm
Salary: £26000 per annum
We are now seeking to recruit a goods in inspector for a busy manufacturing company based in Quedgeley. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for goods in inspection.
Responsibilities:
Inspection of incoming materials.
Support in process test and inspection during all stages of manufacture as required.
Conduct visual and dimensional checks against set specifications and standards.
Monitor the appropriate completion of paperwork in compliance with good documentation practices.
Assist in the investigation and disposition of suspect/quarantined stock. Assist with issuance, control and maintenance of workmanship samples.
Work closely with the Engineering and Technical Support Depts to ensure the appropriate and effective close out of process and/or product deficiencies.
Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment
Requirements:
The appropriate candidate should have previous inspection experiance
Able to use verniers, callipers and micrometers
Ability to work in a team as well as on their own
Good attention to details
