Summary

Providing a fixed term of cover for 12 months to support the maternity leave of the exisiting post holder, you will lead an established team of social workers, senior practitioner and community assessment officers.andnbsp;andnbsp;



The Ongoing Assessment and Intervention Team (OAIT) is based at the Town Hall in Darlington. The Team provide ongoing social work assessment, support planning and interventions for adults living in Darlington who are aged 18+ and live with a range of complex needs.



The team works proactively with people, their families, carers and other relevant professionals to maximise independence utilising a strengths-based approach to assessment and support planning.



Reporting directly to the Service Manager as a Team Manager, you will oversee team operations, including recruitment, retention, and workload allocation. You will provide ongoing supervision to maintain exceptional standards of practice and offer guidance and support on complex cases. Collaboration is key to our success, and you will work closely with partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for people.
