Summary
We have a vacancy for a full time, Band 4 Administrator Team Leader to work at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
You will undertake the day-to-day management and supervision of the administrative team for the Medical Device Service, providing an efficient and high-quality service, linking between the clinical teams by effective maximisation of resources.
You are expected to use your own initiative in all areas, developing the service and team, providing leadership, mentorship and support to the administration team and wider Medical Device Service.
• Responsible for the management, supervision and training of staff within the department to ensure that day to day all services can be provided within their areas of responsibilities.
• Undertake to work flexibly, meeting the demands of the service and to undertake cross cover across the NCA
• Follow service and departmental processes and assist in the implementation of new working practices to enhance service development for improved service working and efficiencies.
• Keep up to date with current issues and developments within the Medical Device Service. Monitor and ensure a consistant service is provided throughout the Trust.
• Participate in the orientation and induction of new staff members.
• Identify and develop staff training needs, using My Time conversations.
• Supervise and ensure efficient use of relevant IT systems, including asset management database.
• Review all clerical/administrative tasks and duties ensuring that internal targets are reached and high levels of quality activity are evident in the workplace.
• Monitor the administrative performance within the department and take corrective action, where necessary, informing the line manager of instances of non-conformance.
