Female Support Worker

Full Time / Part time including sleep ins

Pay £11.70ph increase to £12.31ph from 1st April 2025

Start your day knowing you'll make a difference - we are looking for a Female Support Worker to join a new team in Wednesbury and create a positive difference that improves life for the people we support.

You will be supporting a lady who lives in her own bungalow, she is visually impaired and is looking for the following from her support workers

Working Hours:

Long days 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, including a sleep in (10pm-8am)

Offer flexibility to work week days and weekends and will be required to work a minimum of 1 sleep in a week

Requirements:

- They are looking for confident, firm, caring and compassionate support workers

- Have excellent communication skills and be confident to adhere to routines

- Routines are key for this lady, and they may become unsettled if not followed

- Ideally you will have experience in supporting severe learning disabilities, autism, diabetes type 2, and behaviours of distress.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support with all daily living activities, including medication management.

- Prepare specific meals according to a diabetic diet.

- Facilitate community outings and shopping tasks.

- Assist an individual with severe learning disabilities, autism, and additional conditions including Reynaud's syndrome.
