The Role

You'll become part of a fun, friendly team who support five individuals with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home. You'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking, cleaning, finances, medication and personal care. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests too, these include arts & crafts, walking and going to various social events and activities. The people we support enjoy going swimming so we will need you to feel confident to support in the pool.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too! However, for this opportunity we will need you to have a driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the rural location of our service.

What we will need you to bring: -;

A caring and compassionate attitude
The ability to work well in a team
Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
Good communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Confidence in the use of computers
The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too!)
A full driving license and access to your own vehicle

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns currently fall between the hours of 0700-2130 hours. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.

The sleepover part of our sleepover shifts are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £96 for every sleepover worked.
