Summary
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Production Operative to join our clients Seaham site.
Our clients are specialists in contract packing and blending of ambient liquid sauces and marinades along with a variety of packing options for dry powders and crumbs.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Shift work and overtime may be required on the odd occasion
- Pay rate of £12.50 per hour
Working as a Production Operative, your duties would include:
- Set up and clean equipment - Follow planned setup and changeovers to reduce downtime and keep things running smoothly
- Report issues - Let the engineering team know about any faulty or damaged equipment using the maintenance request form
- Operate machinery - Run machines safely and complete all process paperwork to meet customer and company standards
- Pack products - Work on the production line, following health and food safety guidelines
- Follow food safety rules - Stick to the company's food safety plan (HACCP), including critical control points (CCPs)
