This is a full-time, term-time only position, working 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.



Day to day of the role

We are looking to appoint motivated and innovative Learning Facilitator within the Faculty of Inclusive Practice, providing specialist support programmes for learners with a range of learning barriers/SEND to develop their independence and achieve sustainable outcomes.



You will be responsible for the following;



Facilitating Learning Programmes for ECT learners and implementing the SEND Code of Practice.


Planning and reviewing individual programmes of support, ensuring all aspects of provisions and support specified within a learner’s Initial Needs Assessment and/or Education Health Care Plan is in place and meets the colleges statutory requirements.


Arranging and delivering individualised transition programmes at the start and end of the learners ECT programme.


Planning, delivering, and reviewing high-quality learning programmes, enabling learners to achieve their goals, assisting in the development of strategies to work with individuals and / or small groups, and informing course teams.


Required skills and qualifications

Relevant successful experience of supporting learners with SEND.

Knowledge and understanding of SEND/learning difficulties /disabilities and barriers to learning and how these may affect the way learners learn.

Knowledge and experience of current learning strategies, reasonable adjustments and inclusive practice.

Skills in the development and implementation of personalised learning programmes.
